Giving Tuesday carries an extra layer of significance for Albanians this year. Why?? Because it falls on November 28th to coincide with Albanian Independence/Flag Day.
With this in mind, the Global Albanians Foundation and Germin are looking forward to celebrating Giving Tuesday and Albanian Independence Day together with you “Albanian Style” – in the spirit of Albanian generosity, solidarity, and unity.
We will have a trio of fundraising campaigns running from Giving Tuesday until the end of the year, and we invite you to join us and be a part of positive changes for our communities in our homeland countries and in the diaspora.
- OriginAL which supports Albanian Diaspora Youth to visit their homeland countries and discover their Albanian roots;
- Korçarёt Ndihmojmё Korçarёt which is a program to help youth and children in Korce, and we plan to develop into the first of many Albanian Community Foundations, and
- Albanian Organizations’ Network which is a new program we plan to launch in 2024 to strengthen the cohesion and international influece of the worldwide Albanian community
